The de Buyer Round Grill Frypan is used for searing meat. The iron reaches very high temperatures and lets the juices caramelise perfectly to ensure a sublime flavour. The grooves on the base mark the meat with restaurant-like quality, and, above all, reduce the contact surface during the cooking process. Utensil of the Carbone Plus range in thick heavy quality iron: quickly heats up, uniform heat diffusion.
Reaches high temperatures: enables the Maillard reaction; excellent caramelisation.
Natural non-stick properties: gradual seasoning of the pan. Riveted iron handle with French-style curvature: solid, easy to handle and ergonomic.
Instructions
You will want to season the pan with sunflower oil or similar high burning point oil. After use, deglaze the frypan on the cooktop by boiling water to loosen any debris left from cooking. Do not use detergent as you want to build a natural non-stick coating. Simply, wash out with warm water lightly oil and store in a dry place.
Do not use detergents or put in the dishwasher. The pan will darken after use, this is normal and in fact, desirable.
