The idea for this cutlery came to Carl Pott as he watched a falling leaf sitting under a chestnut tree. The organic form became the model for the spoon, from which the other cutlery parts are derived. The striking, double-edged knife blade has less to do with nature, but more with use. The additional serrated edge on the back is ideal for a strong cut. As cutlery for the 1972 Olympics in Munich, the model became world famous.
